I found no damage or odor. No stains but the dress does need a clean. My guess is that it has not been cleaned as I found the random loose threads that you may find within a new piece of clothing. Not hanging or unraveling but literally loose thread pieces. So, I did see a touch of color in the pits that would not show in a pic and was only visible to me under the lights. Even then.........barely a hint. The dress is a little more blue and richer in color than it photographed.
