They are inspected for quality and tested for functionality before they go out the door. Unlike the hex shaped turnbuckles that are made from aluminum and have less than ¾” of threads in each end, my turnbuckle is CNC machined from cold rolled 1018 steel bar, not cast, and is threaded inside the entire length of the body.
